The land of the Kingdom of Valla floated about in odd geometric shapes around a gray fortress of stone. It was a hidden world, with few entrances, as if the very land hated the thought of being discovered. Those who spoke the name of Valla outside its magical borders would find themselves turned into nothing more than seafoam. For Nina, however, there was no need to worry about this curse, for she was already within the mysterious land, with all of the new dangers right in front of her.

Nina ducked through the dark fortress, each step she took on the floor giving off the feeling that something in the fortress was wrong. In fact, everything in this kingdom felt wrong. Regardless, her task in this battle was to locate the treasures of this accursed fortress while Corrin’s army battled the main force of Vallite soldiers.

Nina was an outlaw. Not the kind of outlaw that steals everything around her like a vile kleptomaniac, or a brigand who holds innocent people up to steal what little valuables they have. Nina was the kind of outlaw who made it her life’s goal to steal for the good of everyone, the kind who stole goods whose owners had stolen it themselves, and the kind who gave what she stole back to the poor.

Her parents had left her with caretakers in a dimension known as the Deeprealms to protect her from the war against Valla, but time flowed differently in the Deeprealms. In what was a few months for her parents, Nina lived nineteen years of her life until she couldn’t simply wait there anymore. It was soon after that she attempted to raid the mansion of a corrupt noble, and reunited with her father, who was now only three years older than her. She then joined him as a member of Corrin’s army, and was now fighting the same war that her parents sought to protect her from before.

“Ahah! A lock!” The braided girl whispered energetically as she finally found something of interest. A locked door always meant good things to an outlaw. She quickly went to work picking the lock with swiftness that only a ninja of Hoshido could match.

When the lock of the door fell to the ground, Nina swiftly opened the door and ducked back behind it.

After a few moments of silence from behind the door, Nina drew her bow. “No fireballs immediately coming to roast me. That’s a good sign,” she muttered. Quickly, she sidestepped into the open doorway, ready to let her arrow fly. To her relief, yet also slight disappointment, not a soul could be found in the room. Though what the outlaw did see was an amazing chest.

She strode into the room, grinning and rubbing her hands together. “Alright chest, come to Nina.”

Once more utilizing her lockpicking skills, Nina cracked the chest before her. What was inside confused her, some sort of tiny crossbow. It featured straps that appeared to fit the wrist of a person as well as a button for releasing the ammo.

Curiously, she tried it on, careful to not point it at her face. It wouldn’t do her any good for her treasure to shoot her eye out after all. After fastening the straps, she pointed her wrist towards the wall and squeezed the button with her thumb. A tiny arrow burst forth from the strange contraption and found itself in the adjacent wall, jutting out in an angle due to the slanted position of the floating fortress.

“Well now. I think I could get used to something like this. Seems like it would help out in these treasure hunts.” She admired the wrist-mounted crossbow once more, still making sure it was pointed as far away from her as possible.

Nina’s admiration didn’t last long though. A bright flash of green from above caught her eye. Too quick for her to react, the light enveloped Nina in a column of emerald flame. She knew she was safe from being scorched though, for she recognized the magic that surrounded her. This did not mean that she was safe however, as the flames were a telltale sign that an entrap staff, a staff that forcefully teleports people near the caster, was used on her. Nina steeled herself to be mobbed by a horde of enemies that would surely pounce the moment the spell ended.

As quick as the prison of fire had appeared around her, it dissipated. Where only moments ago Nina had seen only flames, an eerie sight stood before her. One of the soldiers of Valla rigidly stared the outlaw down with menacing violet eyes. Though she appeared to be human, with garb resembling that of the shrine maidens of Hoshido, the Vallite soldier was plagued with an aura as violet as her eyes.

Nina didn’t waste any precious time to note those finer details as she let fly an arrow from her bowstring. The Vallite shrine maiden made some sort of movement in repose, though whether it was a vain attempt at dodging or attacking would never be known as the arrow pierced flesh, the shrine maiden’s skin and clothing flickering between opaque and transparent rapidly, a trait many Vallite soldiers exhibited when under stress or attacking. Nina was thankfully saved from the disgust of a gorey sight. As all Vallite soldiers did when defeated, the shrine maiden’s solid body began to liquify and fall apart. Within seconds, she was a harmless puddle of water.

Nina had no time to rest her laurels as a burly axe-wielding berserker charged from her left, his entire being becoming nigh-invisible to the naked eye. Nina leaped back as the berserker swung, a slice of cool air hitting her face from the near-miss. She quickly plucked an arrow from her quiver and fired before the berserker could wind up again, but unfortunately for her, the arrow was fired hastily with no regard for accuracy, lodging itself in the armor on his right shoulder. While the shot managed to turn the Vallite opaque again, he was barely harmed.

The Vallite’s helmet showed no eyes from its eyeholes. Nonetheless, some form of evil aura showed through, giving the illusion of evil eyes staring back at her. Without warning, the berserker threw his hands behind him for a downwards chop, but as Nina hurled herself to the side, she noticed a second humanoid surrounded in violet just behind him. While the berserker brought his axe down with Godlike strength and horrible accuracy, the third Vallite, dressed in the garb of a maid, threw a knife directly towards where Nina’s head was about to be.

Nina was far too in motion to stop herself now, but she managed to just barely crane her neck to the side as the knife whizzed by her check. Tiny hairs from her silver braids were split from the knife’s flight and floated towards the ground. Nina landed in a crouch on the floor, where the first thing she noticed was that the maid was kicking her heel up backwards. Attached to the ankle of her boot was a second, larger knife, which flew out its holster above the Vallite.

Nina quickly glanced at the berserker while the maid readied her next strike. Uselessly, he was pulling at his axe, which had become embedded into the fortress floor.

“This might be my only chance, no matter what the maid is doing.” Nina thought, aiming, drawing her bow, and firing one more arrow.

The arrow flew fair and true, and within a moment, it was lodged in the Vallite’s throat. Like the shrine maiden before him, he began to fade in and out of translucence, his aura pulsing violently as his body turned unstable. With a silent fury, he ditched his axe and made a lunge at Nina. The outlaw moved backwards, standing up to avoid the berserker’s final attack. Thankfully, before any flesh could connect, his body melted away into water.

Nina yelped as the deluge of water hit her face. Instinctively, she closed her eyes, and when the water passed, she opened her eyes to the sinister sight of the last Vallite.

With no time to react, Nina was slammed against the wall by the maid. The force of the impact rattled the outlaw, and her grip on her bow slipped, with it clattering to the stony floor beside her. The Vallite made a vicious stab downward, the gray blade eager for flesh. It took both of Nina’s hands to stop the motion, but ever so slowly the blade was inching closer to her heart.

Sweat poured down Nina’s still-damp brow. Her hands shook as she was slowly overpowered by the maid. There had to be something she could do, but what? She focused on her hands and noticed it, the wrist launcher from before!

Nina’s grimace turned to a smirk. She wouldn’t even have to aim with the maid right in front of her. Quickly squeezing the trigger before nothing else could go wrong, a tiny arrow flew from the wrist launcher. The arrow burst forth from its tiny holder and flew fast its short arc, landing directly between the maid’s eyes.

Immediately the maid recoiled from the shot. Flickering between transparent and opaque, she only had time to cast one last hateful stare towards Nina before collapsing into a puddle around Nina’s boots.

Giving a sigh of relief, Nina slid down the wall, her rump landing on the wet ground. She scowled a bit when she remembered she was surrounded by three large puddles of water, and she made her way to a drier part of the room. Once Nina caught her breath from the fight, she inspected the room for doors, only to find that the only one only opened from the outside. Such a design made sense. The Vallites were not individuals, so it was fine to their leaders to lock them in rooms with no way out, using magic to trap enemy soldiers inside and gang up on them. Nina would just have to hope that Lord Corrin would be able to win the battle and send someone to rescue her when it was all over.

Until then, the only thing left for Nina to do was wait, and think. And as she thought, she pondered who might be the one to get her out of the room. She hoped it would be Asugi. Asugi could pick locks, was cute and was a ninja. She’d never be able to talk to him though. Her mind would go wild and she’d never get a word out.

Then she thought about someone she would hate to rescue her, her father. He could do all the thieving things she could, so he’d definitely be able to pick her lock, but he was a gross jerk. He’d absolutely hold it over her head and tease her relentlessly about it.

So then Nina’s thoughts drifted elsewhere. Though Nina was an outlaw by trade, it couldn’t be considered her hobby. Instead, she liked to watch people, guys to be specific. She liked to imagine what those guys might be doing, how they might interact, what relationships they may form. Sometimes she would even hide somewhere, watching guys interact and filling in the gaps of their relationship.

To just imagine with no props, parchment, or people to fuel the fantasy would be a bit boring though. Nina’s hungry eyes scoured the room, looking to find two things that could be the strapping men in this scenario. The dark room held almost nothing of note, but what she did see was the weapons of the three Vallite soldiers, which were completely normal items that did not turn to water. Gingerly, Nina stood from the floor. She walked over to the axe first. It could make a perfect bodybuilder-type character, but only if she could actually lift it. A full minute of attempting to lift the handle proved that no, she could not lift it.

“Well that’s a bust. Let’s see about those other two’s weapons then.”

She picked up the maid’s knife next. Despite how close it had been to stabbing her heart earlier, Nina could only think about what type of name or personality to attribute to it.

“You’ll be Kozo, a deadly assassin from a far-off land, come to assassinate a noble! You project an aura of cruel coldness, but alas, you just want your heart to be unfrozen inside.” Nina chuckled to herself as she breathed impure life into the knife resting in her hands.

With one character down, Nina just needed one more to complete the fantasy. If the berserker’s belongings were too heavy for her to use, then she’d have to see what was left over from the shrine maiden. What she found was the item that had led her into this entire debacle, the entrap staff. Despite it being the reason for her imprisonment, she neither scorned nor scowled at it. Instead, Nina’s thoughts swirled with what kind of traits and tropes she could apply to the staff in her hand.

“You’re firm and rigid, yet filled with the sensitive nature of magic. You’ll be a strong prince! Regal, yet down to Earth! Perhaps even the one Kozu was sent to kill. Alas, your strong, understanding nature melts the heart of the deadly assassin. I don’t really have a name for you, but you’ll be very open. Hehe.” It would be very accurate to say that Nina was now completely delusional.

With both characters down, Nina stepped away from the shrine maiden’s puddle and sat down criss-cross. A knife in one hand and a staff in the other, Nina’s thoughts drifted away as the makeshift puppet show in her hands turned to a mystical land filled with extremely attractive and open men.

“In a wonderful land that I can’t be bothered to think of a name for, there lived a nameless prince. He was kind and grounded despite his status as a royal. Everyone loved him, yet he had no one to love. Hundreds of women had practically thrown themselves at him, but for reasons he did not know.”

To illustrate the prince’s sorrow, Nina tilted the entrap staff backwards to mimic a person dramatically throwing their head back in lonesome anguish. Then, poking out from behind her knee, Nina brandished the knife.

-”Sitting alone in his throne room, his head resting on his large hands, the prince noticed a flicker of movement from the corner. In an instant, his blade came up to match another. A second slower and the prince’s chiseled head would have been split in two.”

Nina pushed the knife and the staff together, pretending that the two were in a standoff until she pushed harder with the hand the staff was in, and flung the knife to the ground.

-”The assassin sat on his knees, defeated. He had but a single chance to complete his mission, and he had failed. The prince stared at his assailant, noting how his cold eyes betrayed his long hair and soft features. Gently he extended his soft, yet large hand. The assassin looked back at the extended hand, and could only say one word.”

“P-P.”

“Pee.”

Nina sat still as she mind caught up to what she had said. As she faded back to reality, it became painfully clear why she’d let the word slip. Nina had made sure she was well hydrated before the battle had started, and it had been several hours into the battle when she had been locked in the room. Combined with the amount of time she had been daydreaming, an unmistakable pressure finally made itself noticed in Nina’s abdomen.

“I guess it has been a while since I last went, but…”

Nina gave another halfhearted glance around the room she was stuck in. Unfortunately, there was nowhere that could serve as a toilet in her prison. The only option she had was to use a corner or the floor. That came with its own troubles though.

“But what if someone came while I…” Nina trailed off as she tried to think of who all could stumble in on her. From Hoshido there were at least four ninjas who could walk in on her: Asugi, his father; Saizo, his uncle; Kaze; and Kagero. Kagero would be the best case if the worst did happen since she was a woman outside of Nina’s generation. Nina knew she was horribly awkward around men, so any of the three male ninjas seeing her would embarrass her to no end, especially Asugi.

Nina shuddered as she realized a scenario even worse than Asugi. If her father would tease her about being captured, who knows what he might say if he caught her peeing on the floor? She’d never be able to live it down. No way was she going to risk literally being caught with her pants down when she could be saved at any moment.

Readjusting herself so she was now sitting on her knees, Nina tried to refocus on her fantasy before it could slip away.

”Many times the Prince would offer to do things for fun: theater, shogi, and even barbecuing. Kozu however, remained asocial. Things were able to slowly change in their relationship though. The Prince first began to notice during their battles together, Kozu became a little more expressive with each fight. Often he’d step in to block blows aimed at the Prince and then berate him for leaving his flank open. In rarer times he would compliment The Prince for making a well-timed blow on a foe. In such moments The Prince would flash a great big smile at Kozu, and he wished Kozu would- ”

A surge of pressure in Nina’s bladder would distract her once more. The thief’s eyes squeezed shut as she squeezed even harder on her crotch, hoping to keep her taxed bladder under control. After what felt like hours of heavy holding, she managed to control herself once more. Wearily, she sighed, the blush on her cheeks fading.

“Bit worse than you thought, huh Nina?” She spoke to herself, as though she was pretending she was someone else, someone who wasn’t bursting in a locked room all alone. In the end, that was exactly who she was, and she still wasn’t ready to admit she’d had enough. Moving her leg so she was now sitting directly on her heel, Nina tried to forget the pounding pressure in her crotch. She didn’t even bother to use the knife or staff puppet this time. Nina had one hand propping herself up, and the other was placed firmly in her lap. Focusing on the inanimate staff and knife in front of her, the objects began to dance around as humans once more.

She needed a good way to get them closer together if she was to finish the storyline by the time she was rescued. Thinking for too long would take her out of the fantasy though. She needed something quick; something that she already might be thinking of.

“If only I wasn’t stuck in this dull room… ROOM! That’s it!”

Kozu would have to stay close to the prince if he physically couldn’t get away, and what better way to do that than having them be trapped together like she was? They’d only have themselves together, time would fly on by as they talked, and since they were all alone…

Maybe there could be, dare she even think it, HANDHOLDING?

Kozu and the prince snuck through the enemy castle, when suddenly all doors in the room slammed shut in their doorways. Trapped with no way out, the manly bonds between our two heroes could only intensify. Each small sentence between them was a wild gesture! The two spent every moment of their time together. Kozu’s unwillingness to speak melted in the face of what would otherwise be complete boredom. Yet as they finally clasped hands together, water began to pour from the ceiling! Their foes were trying to drown them, just as they’d made first intimate contact. The water, clearer than glass, filled the room, past their knees, past their chests. It filled even faster than a… uh… um…

“AH!”

Nina’s bladder was now screaming for release. She’d never needed to go this bad in her entire life: not through any battle or heist she’d ever been in, nor bathroom line or cruel times in school. She fell to her side with both hands pressing as hard as she possibly could into her overfilled bladder, squirming and mewling on the cold ground.

“Ugh, Nina you moron!” She cursed herself, though she could hardly process her situation. All she really knew was that she had to go, now.

The outlaw opened her eyes. The closest corner would have to work. She’d only have to hope whomever saved her wouldn’t look so intently at them. It was then though that she noticed she was right by the puddle that had been left behind by the shrine maiden. Then a single thought crossed her mind, “If that part of the ground was still wet, what could a little more do?”

With as much willpower as she could muster, Nina rose back up to her knees. She found herself panting as she took a moment to ensure she was still in control. When she’d determined that nothing was leaking or damper than it should be, she rose up once more into a squatting position. Then came what would be the hardest part. She removed her hands from her crotch, her legs immediately squeezing together to fill their absence. With speed only a thief could have, her hands darted underneath her skirt and her thumbs hooked around the waistband of her tights and panties. She took only a second to mentally prepare herself, and pulled them down her legs, to the point where they were just above her knees.

Pssssssssssshhh

The flood erupted from Nina’s nethers with nary a hint of shyness, jetting out into an arc between her legs that flew out and landed into the nearby puddle of water. Nina let out an unhinged moan of relief as she finally abandoned her pride. The hours of battle and the time spent waiting were finally leaving her with a loud hiss. Louder than the hiss was the splashing as her stream mixed with the puddle, her own yellowish waters staining the crystal clear water, not that anyone could see it in the dark. Though if anyone's was in the room, what they’d see Nina doing was unmistakable.

And that’s exactly when the cell door opened.

A dim wave of light filled the room, almost blinding to Nina after spending so long in the dark. That hardly mattered though, as her heart had now stopped in pure fear. The one thing she had tried to avoid was now staring her right in the face, and she was completely helpless to quell the raging flood.

“And that’s- wha?”

794481C6-2B23-4A15-8CA4-BE86BD995AEF.png.ce8670a363aa636205365fa1cfbab457.png

The extremely confused woman in the doorway wore an outfit incredibly similar to Nina’s. Matching boots, tights, hoods, and gloves. Unlike Nina, she sported red hair, and six fingers that she usually placed on her chin. Her name was Anna, and Nina had forgotten that she was among the Nohrians who could easily open doors, the only one apart from herself and her father.

The two women’s eyes met, with Anna’s confusion switching quickly to realization. She blushed faintly, though her embarrassment was nothing compared to Nina’s, whose face was redder than Anna’s own hair.

Nina desperately tried stemming the flow, but her body simply wouldn’t let her. She was thankfully smart enough to not try pulling up her clothes. This left her with nothing to do though, leaving the two outlaws to engage in the most awkward staring contest of their lives. The only sound being the hissing of Nina’s pee, and the gradual tapering off until all that remained were drips.B5151AE3-56EF-4F01-89CD-1EF1D03EA870.thumb.png.982e78b5b2a78a07dfcc04c059b5ecc5.png

With nothing to wipe with and nothing to lose, Nina pulled her tights and underwear back up. She stared at the floor in embarrassment. What really could she say after being caught quite literally with her pants down.

The silence was finally broken by the clearing of a throat. Then Anna spoke. “Well, I don’t really blame you, getting caught in there like that. So don’t worry about me, my lips are sealed. Honor among thieves or whatever.”

Nina recognized that phrase. Her father had told her “There is no honor among thieves” when she was young, and that difference spoke volumes to her. It made sense; while Niles stole for his survival, and Nina stole for the survival of others, Anna was simply a merchant who had learned how to steal things that had been stolen from her, which was why Nina had disregarded her earlier. Despite her silence and wounded pride, deep down she was relieved it was just Anna who had found her. Anyone else but Kagero would have doubled the burning embarrassment.

“I’ll stop blocking your way then. By the way, we’ve taken the fortress, so it’s just us ‘looters’ now. You probably won’t have to worry about any traps or Vallites. See ya later then.”

With that, Anna walked off, leaving Nina to skulk off back to Corrin’s castle, somehow managing to dodge her father and his ability to make her mood worse.

~~

A few hours later, Nina headed towards her room in Corrin’s hidden castle. After fighting for a few hours, coming close to dying, and nearly peeing herself, she was ready to wash it all away in the hot springs, and she’d gone to her room for a change of clothes. It was then that she saw a curious basket on her doorstep. Inside was a card as well as a lavender bath towel. Nina opened the card and read its contents.

Sorry again for catching you like that
I’ve been trying to get one of these for months
But I think you’ll enjoy it more

-Anna

And at that, Nina smiled brightly. She really did love towels, and it would be perfect for the bath she’d soon have. A nice long bath, with plenty of time to think. That is, plenty of time to think about guys. Nina’s eyes were shining stars as she spoke softly to herself.

“Alright Nina, now how would two guys ‘accidentally’ get trapped like you did?”
